Impotence

Impotence or erectile dysfunction is a health condition that affects the male sexual organ. It occurs when a man either cannot get an erection, or ejaculates prematurely meaning he cannot sustain the erection long enough for sexual intercourse. Impotence is a very common problem, it is estimated that 15 million men around the world are impotent and only about 10% of them look for cure to this ailment. Impotence can occur due to numerous reasons, most common of which are old age,  side effect of various medications including ones taken for blood pressure, drug abuse (heroine) and also because of an injury either on the penis or the spinal cord.

Impotence normally leaves men shattered both socially and psychologically. This is not something that they openly discuss with their friends or even their doctors. Many men try to self-treat by taking oral medicines like Viagra. It is not recommended though for Viagra to be taken without consulting a doctor beforehand. What most men fail to realize is that there are many factors that come into play and care should be taken when one opt for Viagra. Self medication is also not advisable because of the several side effects of the anti-ED pills; care needs to be taken about factors like dosages etc.

There are several alternatives for the treatment of impotence available nowadays. The most common amongst them is natural Viagra. Natural Viagra are basically elements found in nature that act in the same way these pills do. All of these methods have the same mode of action; they block certain enzymes of the body which hamper blood flow and hence allowing the blood to reach the penis easily and in abundance, giving you the proper erection needed for a pleasurable night. Keep in mind that these pills temporarily influence the impotence, they do not offer permanent cure. They are just a relief for the time that you take them. Viagra, for example, stays in the blood stream for four hours.
